WORLD MISSIONS

New Hope partners with the following missions work around the world (please click on the links to take you to the mission website).

United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) - This arm of the United Methodist Church helps relieve human suffering in the name of Jesus Christ in virtually every country around the world. - Every dollar amount that goes to UMCOR goes directly to the area of mission which it was designated. - Specific ministries which we sponsor within UMCOR include: Haiti hot lunch program.

Northern Lights Ministry - This nondenominational ministry of Kate and Peter Walugembe in Budumbuli, Uganda provides health, education, and spiritual support to children who have lost their parents due to AIDS and other tragedies. - This mission was founded in 2004 by Kate Walugembe, a native of Machinaw City and member of Church of the Straits.

Kingdom Builders International - This nondenominational ministry begun by missionaries Randy and Patti Cunningham seeks to build the kingdom of God and see lives changed through Jesus Christ. As long time missionaries to Haiti they continue to share the good news of Jesus Christ through providing food and health care. They are currently in the process of building a medical clinic in Tet Bwa Pin, Haiti. Kingdom Builders has expanded their ministry by conducting short-term mission trips to Jamaica and Uganda providing medical care and construction assistance. Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child - Preceding every Christmas we collect shoeboxes filled with gift items for a boy or girl in an undeveloped nation distributed by Samritan's Purse, a nondenominational evangelical organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world.
