MEET THE PASTOR

It is my joy to serve New Hope United Methodist Church. I accepted the call to New Hope after several years of ministry across central Michigan. While my wife and I are just beginning our journey here, we've already felt the Spirit's deep embrace. Whether you've been a member for a long time or just happened in one Sunday morning, this is also my prayer for you. Abandoned to the love of Jesus, we find healing for our brokenness and forgiveness for our sins.

The purpose of the United Methodist Church is "to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world." Our "world" begins right where we are in Northern Emmet County, and we accomplish our mission as we help the lost come come to Jesus, the lonely find loving fellowship, those who mourn to find comfort, those who hunger and thirst to receive from the Source that never runs dry, all with a spirit of love, which binds us all together. We look forward to ministry with you to make disciples who transform the world.
